...Spencer Pratt & Heidi Montag

Do you remember the good old days of 2007 when MTV's most popular show was about young 20 somethings in L.A.? Do you remember the villains of that show Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag? Well look at them now. Apparently they are sad, broke and full of regrets. In a new interview with "The Daily Beast" Spencer and Heidi opened up about their life post fame.

On their relationship: When asked if they'd ever split, this is how the two responded: "Spencer: 'No.' Heidi: 'No.' Spencer: 'Not for one minute.' Heidi: 'We've never even been apart.'"

On money: "We never had any!" Spencer told the Beast. They said they spent about $2 million on Heidi's failed music career. Additionally, they bought a whole lot of stuff they didn't need. "I probably spent a million dollars on suits and fancy clothes," Spencer said. "My whole million-dollar wardrobe -- I would never wear that again. They're props. Everything we were doing, we were buying props. I bought a big blue monster truck just to drive it on 'The Hills' for an episode. Never drove it again."

On plastic surgery: "Obviously I wish I didn't do it," she said. "I would go back and not have any surgery. It doesn't help. I got too caught up in Hollywood, being so into myself and my image. I don't regret anything, but if I could go back, I wouldn't do it... I made a lot of wrong decisions too quickly. So many wrong rights and lefts and then you're just off the road. Things happened so quickly."

On life post "fame": "It's like what 70-year-olds do," Spencer said. "We're reading a lot of books... Now all we eat are tacos and burritos. Whereas we used to eat at Cut." Heidi added: "We're watching movies... I do a lot of laundry. A lot of laundry. We're training our dogs, so I'm cleaning up less poop inside, which is great."

Basically they are trying to win back the public. You know what? I smell a couple fishing for a new reality show! I do see them coming back for one last hooray, but I doubt they are as broke as they claim. Spencer's family has money and I am sure they still support him in some way. They did bring this on themselves, however I ma sure they were playing a role, a role they could not play well. MTV left them before they left MTV. Spencer went crazy on the show and they were not even invited to the party for the last episode of "The Hills". Then he went crazy on another show and was sent home early. They are the classic case of fame gone bad. Heidi was quick and eager to put her name and or face on any and every product thrown her way, now she is a bad joke. Spencer was the over bearing boyfriend/manager who killed his career and Heidi's by association. Now the only thing they have, or so they claim, is love, if that. I am giving Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag a Digit Down, no sympathy from me at all.

...MTV

Someone has a birthday... I wonder who? It is MTV's 30th birthday and my oh my has it changed. There are rarely any music videos played on the channel, unless you are up from 3AM-7AM. They launched and created something amazing, all music, all of the time, but eventually that went away. Why? It is expensive to run a channel without ads or sponsorship with just a single mindset, ask Speed.

(The moon-landing promo ran roughly 75,000 times on MTV, including 17,000 plays in MTV's inaugural year.)

I remember watching shows like Beavis & Butt-head and Daria and watching their Spring Breaks when they were way better than they are today, but they also used to be in Florida when Florida was okay with that. Even when they moved to Mexico it was not so bad for the 1st couple of years. At midnight August 1st, on the exact 30th anniversary of MTV's first broadcast, VH1 Classic will replay MTV's entire first hour of footage from 1981. The Buggles' "Video Killed the Radio Star" was the first video MTV ever played, but can anyone name the second? Maybe int he next 10, 20, 30 or so years MTV will add music back into their programming. I doubt it, but it could be a nostalgic thing, like TV Land or Nick at Nite. Still I am impressed with the longevity and revenue MTV pulls in and for that alone I am going to give MTV 2 Digits Up.

...Paris Hilton

I was not going to comment on her but I decided to. I watched her show, I was one of the few that decided to watch it. I liked it. I have always been a fan of hers because I get it. Though she puts on an act, I have always gotten her. I understand her much better than I have any Kardashian and I know what she could be if she wanted to. Her show was meant to give us a new look into her life, a better view of who she is now and where she is going as a woman. Sadly the show fell short. Her voice overs were a tad too much and they at times made her sound like a snob and rude. I understand that if you grow up around a certain set of people and you were raised a certain way then you cannot help the way you are. Her mother admitted on the show that she was raised to care what others thought of her and she raised her kids to the same way. She realized it was not the best way to live and she changed. This moment was seen on the show, it was a great mother daughter moment. Her mother, Kathy Hilton, is a pillar of strength in the Hilton family. I adore her and many people do. Now back to Paris. One thing that she should do is....drop some of her friends. Pretty much all of her friends, minus Jen, make her look bad. Even if she does not do drugs regularly like Brooke or even if she is not a rude bitch like her friend Allison, they still make her look bad. Why would she choose to bring those friends on her show? People will see how they are and assume that is why Paris acts the way she does. Though they might have been her friends for years, sometimes you just have to start over and keep the good friends and get rid of the old ones. Also during the season I wondered if Paris had ever slept with another girl. A lot of her friends seemed to have so one could assume that she has as well. All in all I think the show did show us a slightly more thoughtful side of her and I do believe the moments were real. However I do not think that reality TV is the world for her anymore. She should become a forceful businesswoman and expand her brand as best as possible. I am still going to give Paris Hilton a Digit Up because at the end of the day I get what she is doing.

...Cash Cab

Death is rarely ever funny. Most of the times it is not the death that is funny but the way that it occurred that is. I read about a man in Canada who was struck by a taxi and later died. The taxi turned out to be one of the faux taxis used for the show "Cash Cab". This was not the American version though, this was the Canadian version. The accident happened as a producer was driving the replica cab back to a storage facility after filming for the day had been completed. The 61 year old man hit by the cab later died at the hospital. Andrew Burnstein, president of Castlewood Productions Inc., which produces the shows Canadian version, had this to say, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his friends and his family. My heart also goes out to the driver of the vehicle, a member of our technical staff, who is shaken and devastated by this tragic accident, as is our entire team." No charges have been filed yet, but the accident is still under investigation. Why was this funny? I have no clue, but I giggled and I am still trying to figure out why. Probably because it was the "Cash Cab" and that show is a tad annoying to me, though I only watch a segment every other other month by accident. This news is sad for that mans family and I am sure they will sue and get a lot of cash from that cab, haha...awwwww cheap. I am giving this a Digit Down.

...Emmy Snubs

As a future Emmy winner, of some sort...even if it is a local Emmy, I pay close attention to the Emmy nominations. This year I, along with many others, were surprised by who did not get a nominations, a little pissed. Let me start with one of my favorite shows Cougar Town. Are you kidding me here, no nominations for Cougar Town!?! Glee gets 12, Cougar Town gets 0. I guess because there is no gay character on the show, like its network sister Modern Family, they just got ignored. Cougar Town is funny, the whole cast is funny and it deserved a few nominations for the show and individual cast members. Next on the list would be the whole Real Housewives series. How is it that not a single show from that awesome series of shows not get nominated? The shows that were nominated however: Antiques Roadshow, Deadliest Catch, Hoarders, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, MythBusters and Undercover Boss. Besides Kathy Griffin's show I do not watch any of these dated shows. I try to watch MythBusters but it comes on at some programed pack prime time time and it is just forgettable. Now I will end this with my last upset of the Emmy's... Why is there no mention of the hilarious and somewhat offensive It's Aways Sunny in Philadelphia? This show is crazy funny and stupid and smarter than most would think. Though it is on FX it also airs on Comedy Central and the show has a loyal following. I would lie to see an Emmy or two slung their way before the show ends, whenever that is. I am giving these Emmy Snubs a Digit Down.

...Jersey Shore

Well we all knew it would come to an end, and the end is near. Jersey Shore season 5 will be the last season, at least with the current cast. I am sure they will get a whole bunch of new wannabe celebrities ready to make asses of themselves for an extended 15 minutes of fame. The current cast however will be getting spin offs, yay... We already know Pauly D is getting his own show and Snooki and JWOWW are getting a show together. I am sure soemhow there will be a crappy show for The Situation and an abusive show for Sam and Ron. Poor Vinny may actually have to go back to college...HAHAHAHA. Anyway the current cast is making $100,000 an episode so a new cast would just be cheaper, fresher, and the producers would not have to make them stay inside because everyone on the shore would not know who they were, unlike the current cast. While I am giving this news a Digit Up I am already dreading the new Jersey Shore with the new cast. Oy.

...Danielle Staub

Do you remember Danielle Staub? She was the most hated housewife on the hit Bravo series "Real Housewives of New Jersey". She left the show after 2 seasons and she claimed she was making money doing other things. We all know she was at one time a cocaine snorting prostitute who may or may not have held people hostage for money. Any who she is set to be in a reality show along with Heidi Montag and other reality television has beens on VH1 this Fall I think it is call Famous Food or something like that. But now she seems to be in some sort of trouble again. Pictures of her have surfaced of her stripping at Scores in New York City. This 49 year old plastic surgery addict is not something that you would hope to see in such a famous strip club, but there she is taking it all off. This is something that she willingly did on her own. Her sex tape, as she claims, was something she did without knowing it was ever going to be released, though if you saw it you would beg to differ. The picture of her above was on Scores website, though it was not censored. I could have put up the uncensored version but you will have to Google that one for yourself because it is not hot at all. She apparently signed a 3 year deal with the club and she will be required to appear at events and do at least 1 live show, ouch. That was until she decided to quit and focus on seeking treatment for psychological problems... Mmmkay...? She claims her handlers "coaxed" her into signing the agreement with scores, which I do not believe. It people gave her a positive response, she would be claiming this move was all her idea and blah blah blah. She told People Magazine, "I have addictions with love and low self-esteem, and I need help. My low self-esteem derived from childhood sexual abuse has messed with my mind and self-worth, and over the years I thought about getting help but pushed it deep into the depths of denial. "For years I have had the suicide hotline on my cell phone and would like nothing more than to free myself from this constant pressure. Seeing how I have hurt myself and my family this time, I can no longer push it behind me." I think we can add an addiction to attention and fame to that list as well and I say that because when the shiz hit the fan last year she sought treatment from Dr. Phil to deal with her unresolved issues. I think that as soon as her daughter turns 18 she needs to pack up and leave. Her ex-husband needs to gain full custody of the other daughter and leave Danielle to her own demise I am going to give Danielle Staub a Digit Down.

...Kyle Massey

Do you remember Kyle Massey? He was on last season's Dancing With the Stars. Apparently he and Bristol Palin became really good friends. So much so that he will be featured on her new reality show later this year. Bristol will be staring in a show about her and her son moving from Alaska to Los Angeles and working with a charity. The will be staying with Kyle and his brother Chris while in L.A. It will be a 10 episode show airing on the Bio Channel. Basically I will not be watching, I have that channel but I refuse to search for it. I am wondering how close they could have gotten in a somewhat short period of time? They are around the same age, but can guys and girls be just friends? If they start dating it would not be THAT surprising. Anyway I am sure this will give Kyle's career a major boost, he cannot live on Disney money alone, he is not a huge star. For some reason I am going to give him a Digit Up because he should enjoy the good things while they last.

...Kristin Cavallari

No she is not getting her on reality show on VH1 like her former cast mates...yet. Kristin is getting married, to a football player, a starting football player. Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are engaged to be married, she said, "He surprised her with a quick trip to Cabo to ask her to marry him." This marriage does not make sense to me. She seems about as mature as a 12 year going through puberty and he seems so blah. He is not good looking in anyway so I guess it is a marriage of means? I do not see this marriage lasting long, though for his sake I hope it does because he stands to lose a lot of money. Also if he does not perform well this season she will be blamed for it. His job is not on thin ice, but he is no Tom Brady in the stability department, especially after he gave up in the playoff last season. Any who I am going to give her a Digit Up for getting engaged and I guess doing better in life.

...Heidi Montag

Smart, savvy or sad? Heidi Montag is returning to television, reality television. As with her former cast mate Audrina Patridge she will be on VH1's new show called "Famous Food". The premise of the show; she will be waiting tables at a restaurant along with other "celebrities" such as: Danielle Staub ("Real Housewives of New Jersey"), Jake Pavelka ("The Bachelor"), Vincent Pastore ("The Sopranos"), singer/mistress Ashley Dupre and Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy "J". Each week, they'll face a different challenge, including renovating the space, agreeing on a restaurant concept, drafting marketing plans, crafting a menu, hiring staff and ensuring a scandal-free grand-opening. Whoever contributes the most to the restaurant's success will ultimately be crowned the winner and receive a partnership stake in the restaurant. Wow it sounds SO thrilling. Yawn goes America. This is scheduled for 10 episodes later this Fall. Other than clips that will be shown on "The Soup" I highly doubt I am going to watch this show. Heidi has to make money somehow I guess. She spent a lot on her flop of an album and I do not think she can afford to pass this up. Still I ma giving her a Digit Down fr this horrible waste of television space.

...Christina Aguilera

It seems that Christina's plan to get back out there and be seen by the world is starting to pay off. So what she was arrested this week, she is about to get back to work. Christina has signed on to be a coach on the new NBC singing talent show "The Voice". This show already seems like NBC's version of Simon Cowell's "The X Factor". Christina had this to say, "I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful project that celebrates music and the talent behind it. To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists' careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms. I am so happy to be working with fellow Grammy Award winners Adam (Maroon 5's Adam Levine) and Cee Lo as I feel there is so much we can all bring to 'The Voice.'" Mark Burnett is one of the producers of the shows and he had this to say, When I decided to produce 'The Voice,' I immediately knew that my first choice for a female coach had to be Christina Aguilera. Christina has a perfect voice and is an undeniable force in the music business. She is the epitome of 'The Voice.'" Apparently there will be 4 coaches and they will pick singers during blind auditions. Once the coaches have their teams, they will bring in their own songwriters, producers and industry pals to help their teams evolve. On paper this looks good, but I can just see this turning into a horrible Hollywood remake. When I 1st heard that she signed on to do this show I thought of how great this would have been if this was 2005. Christina cannot even get people to buy her music or to listen to her voice in a movie, how is she going to coach someone else? Cee Lo as well. But back to Christina whose voice has risen to a level of annoyance that only Patti LaBelle fans can tolerate. She has other things she should, could be doing rather than being on some B-List reality show that will produce a D-List singer, if that. I wonder if she remembers she has a son? I bet she remembers she had a career! I am giving her a Digit Down. She is making some bad moves and I thin she knows and does not care. I would also like to add that you cannot stage a true comeback, they great ones actually happen.

...Lauren Conrad

Not long ago Lauren Conrad was MTV's reality show darling. Her show "The Hills' was a smash hit and she was selling books and a lifestyle that little tweens wanted. Then she left the show, it ended and now we have Jersey Shore. Due to their success MTV has pulled Lauren's show. Her new show was to premier this year and it was about her launching her fashion company etc. "We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result. MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life." Basically what this means is that her show as BORING! Not enough drama! This is what is halting the premiere of the Real Housewives of New York as well. Drama sells, fighting sells, ratings sell ads/ This is something that Lauren knows, but I guess she thought her old brand was still valuable to MTV, not. David Janollari, EVP, Head of Programming for MTV, told Entertainment Weekly magazine: "We decided not to go ahead with the show. She did do a pilot. There were talks about whether we could somehow manage to put together a special based on that footage but that's also a big question mark based on her interest in that and the finances. We love her! We would love her on our network! It was a great attempt but it just didn't feel like a perfect fit for us now." Well Lauren, maybe Bravo or TLC will buy this, until then I am giving you a Digit Down.

...The Real Housewives of Miami

Well if you like drama, housewives and more drama then Bravo has another hit for you. The Real Housewives franchise is headed to Miami. The cast is out and the date is set for it to premiere, Thursday February 22nd. I will be watching for sure, I have been hooked since season 1 of the O.C. Housewives. I have also heard that maybe Austin, Texas will be the next stop for the Housewives franchise... Back to Miami. I did happen to notice that a few these women have either had bad surgery or too much. Obviously this has been a longtime coming. I am going to give this show a Digit Up.

Lea Black: Deeply loved, occasionally uncompromising, but universally respected, this Texas native is leaving an indelible mark on Miami. Married to one of the top criminal defense attorneys in the country, Roy Black, and raising their 9-year-old son, Lea Black has a reputation as a community leader. She raised money for President Barack Obama during his 2008 presidential campaign as well as many other local Florida politicians, and spends a majority of her time working towards the success of her own beloved charity.

Marysol Patton: Miami native Marysol Patton is one of Miami's most sought-after women both socially and professionally. Divorced 10 years has allowed her to put all energy into creating and running one of the premiere public relations firms in town, the Patton Group. Armed with her bedazzled iPhone and a hot female staff, this PR maven definitely knows how to throw a party for her A-list clients. When Marysol's not working, she finds time to hang with her mother Elsa, a character in her own right. Elsa considers herself a "seer," not a psychic and she's a hot commodity amongst A-listers looking for spiritual guidance.

Adriana DeMoura-Sidi: This Brazilian bombshell is a full-time mom and a highly respected art curator who is always on the go. Coming off a traumatic divorce, Adriana DeMoura-Sidi wasted no time meeting her new fiancée, Fredric. Still her relationship is always on the rocks, as Adrianna's flirtatious ways and fiery personality seem to get her in trouble and leave her peers gossiping.

Alexia Echevarria: This "Cuban Barbie" holds the pulse of Miami's Latin culture. As the executive editor of Venue Magazine, Alexia Echevarria spotlights the latest fashion trends as well as up-and -coming Latin film and TV stars. Alexia loves to spend time at her Miami Beach home with her husband Herman, and admits she is at times more of an older sister than a disciplinarian to her two sons from a previous marriage.

Cristy Rice: As a Miami native who is beyond proud of her roots, Cristy Rice's sassy Latina flair is evident in everything she does. Recently divorced from NBA superstar Glen Rice, Cristy has entered a new phase of her life, being single and living out loud. When she's not out dancing at night or dealing with relationship drama, Cristy's life is jam-packed with being a single mom to her three children and running her own clothing store.

Larsa Pippen: This wife of NBA superstar Scottie Pippen shares the unofficial title of "Hottest NBA Wife" with her friend Cristy Rice. A snarky Lebanese beauty, Larsa Pippen boasts that she's successful at everything she does, including playing wife and mother to her four young kids. When she's not busy turning her three little boys into star athletes, shopping for her one-year-old princess, or firing nannies, Larsa is happy to spend a little time on herself.

...Sarah Palin

Yeah it is a slow day today, thus why Sarah Plain is the topic. Her show "Sarah Palin's Alaska" ended and it will not be renewed. Despite averaging 3.2 million viewers on TLC the show received a lot of flak from animal lovers and wildlife lovers and the Left and the Right etc so it is over. No big deal. She made $250,000 per episode, 8 total, $2 million. It is 2011 and now she has enough time to decide on her next political move. We all know where she wants to be come 2012, we just do not know how she is going to get there, she does not even know if you ask me, but who asked me... She got a lot of attention for the show, helped her image probably more than hurt it in the eyes of most casual viewers. She's a tough chick and so is her Husband Todd. Too bad this is the 21st century and we are in a time when those things just do not mater as much as they oncee did. I ma still going to give her a Digit Up because I think she achieved everything she set out to do with the show.

...Khloe Kardashian

The Bull-Moose one of the sisters is getting a show of her own, with her husband. She and Lamar are getting their own reality show, which will be sort of like the Newlyweds, which worked out very well for Nick and Jessica. I am not a Kardashian fan, of course, and I do not know why they need another show at all, their current ones bore me, but here we go again. Khole is the only sister to keep a man, a man worth keeping, and she pretty much has her stuff together. I am not sure what the show will feature because the sisters are always together! It is like each Kardashian house has its own camera crew and each show just features a different house with a guest appearance from another house. Of course this is how they make their money and this is what they do so until we say boo they will keep forcing it down our throats. I will not be watching anything Kardashian this year. How will I be doing this? Easily, I will just not watch E! of course. I am giving Khole Kardashian a Digit Down for keeping the Kardashians on television evermore.

...Reality Television

Yet again Hollywood has decided to recycle some things only this time it is reality television taking the brunt of it. First let us start with another Kardashian show, woo whoo. This one will be called "Kim and Kourtney Take New York City". The show will be about how the two sisters are coming to New York to open another DASH store. Do those stores do that well? Doubt it. This is what Kim blogged, ""I could not be more excited to spend the next couple of months in one of my favorite cities. When we decided to open a new DASH store in the city, Kourt and I felt that someone needed to be here to help out with the store and make sure everything was running smoothly. After talking with my family, I decided that I would join Kourtney, Scott and Mason in NYC." So far it sounds like another E! "hit" but to me it will just be the same show in a new city...yawn.
Next something even worse, Justin Bieber will hosting the new version of Punk'd. ARE YOU SERIOUS! To be honest I was not a fan of the 1st version and now with Justin on bored oh boy
watch me turn my channel faster than Lindsay Lohan turns away from good advice. Is the joke that he is a joke, because I already knew that. Though Ashton Kutcher retired from the show in 2007 MTV always wanted the show to continue. Kutcher will remain as executive producer, more money for him to help pay for that probable divorce from Demi. I see this show getting ratings from tweens and teens who are fans of Bieber, that is the only reason they would want hi to host. His voice, lack their of, is fading due to puberty so why not us his fame to land as many gigs as he can before he hits the bankruptcy courts. I am giving both of these shows a Digit Down because they have been done before both literally and figuratively.

...MTV

MTV is giving 2 people who helped make their recent reality show franchise HUGE a show of their own. Lauren Conrad from Laguna Beach and The Hills and Pauly D from Jersey Shore. First let us talk about Lauren. Lauren's new show is a reality documentary about her new fashion line. It is scheduled to start shooting this October. She left The Hills in 2009 and has been absent from television since. With this new show she will have more control over everything. I am sure it will be interesting, more interesting than it sounds, but honestly I could live without it. I am over her and The Hills. Next there is Pauly D. I am going to make this short. His new show apparently already has a title and a premise. It will be about him and his DJing career. It is scheduled to start shooting within a month. The 3rd season of Jersey Shore has already wrapped up so this made it possible for him to start this new project. I am not looking forward to this show either. I am not interested in what he is doing or who he may be doing it with. I get enough of him and his friends on Jersey Shore. Again I can live without this. MTV seems to be running out of creative juice, typical Hollywood stuff. I am giving MTV a Digit Down.
