...Ferrari

Ferrari is a great car maker and if you love cars then you love Ferrari, even those with Lamborghinis have to admit that they like at least one Ferrari. But Ferrari is about to tarnish their brand a little with a car that looks worse than the Mondial. This new Ferrari, the FF, is a 2 door all-wheel drive station wagon? What? Are you serious? I would rather see a 4-door Ferrari than a station wagon. This is strictly a European car because only in Europe are station wagons more popular than SUV's. I do not understand why they are doing this with Ferrari. What is the point of owning Maserati and using it as your test kitchen if you are just going to make a major mistake with this FF. Even though they claim it can reach a top speed of 205MPH, I am not becoming a fan of this at all. Porsche made a 4door sedan and now Ferrari wants to make a blunder. I am giving Ferrari a Digit Down.

...Bentley

By now we are used to hearing about recalls on cars such as Toyota, Honda, Ford, Chevy, etc. But earlier this year Ferrari recalled its new 458 Italia, a $300,000 sports car. Now we have a new car to add to the list, Bentley. Bentley is recalling 820 of its cars worldwide, 620 in America alone, because of a fear that its famous "winged B" may not retract during an accident and it could possibly injure someone. The repairs would be done for free and take about an hour. I find this rather humorous. If you are in an accident I doubt you are going to care about your hood ornament. This just makes the company look bad, any recall would do that. I am sure owners could care less if their "winged B" retracts during an accident. I am giving Bentley a Digit Down for tarnishing their image a tad.

...Ferrari

Ferrari is known for making some of the most coveted sports cars in the world. But recently their new darling, the 458 Italia, has been having major problems. This new Ferrari is being recalled because some have caught on fire on more than 1 occasion, about 10 cases actually. Apparently the rear wheelhouse has glue that can melt and become flammable when you drive the Ferrari hard, the way you are suppose to drive a Ferrari. The cars being recalled were made before July 2010 and were sold in Europe, China and California. With a base price of $230,000 a problem like this should have never ever occurred in the 1st place. I am still planning on purchasing one, why not, but I am going to make sure that all of the kinks have been fixed before I take it for a drive. I am giving Ferrari a Digit Down because these a Bush League problems.
