...Bono

People love when celebrities are down to earth and humble and give back to charities. Everyone knows that Bono fits all of that and beyond. Love him or hate him he is here to stay and he has a large following with and without his band U2. I recently read about a hockey play, Gilbert Brule, and his girlfriend Kelsey Nichols, picking up Bono on the side of the road. Why? They thought they saw him hitchhiking on the side of the road in Canada! How random is that? Oddly enough it was true! According tot he Edmonton Journal, "Brule and Kelsey Nichols were driving in West Vancouver when Brule was convinced he had seen Bono hitchhiking. Nichols had her doubts, but Brule persuaded her to turn the car around and … well, it was Bono and his assistant, looking to hitch a ride because they had gone for a walk on a Beautiful Day, had been caught in the rain and were stuck in a moment they couldn't get out of." I find this so odd, but I also fin this SO Bono. He gave them tickets to his show and backstage passes and even mentioned the ordeal during the show. I am giving Bono a Digit Up for living up to be the type of guy I though the would be.
