Many many many people were outraged over this and it got so big that the girl was taken away from her mother.
Well now the mother is coming out t say....it was all a hoax. Sheena Upton is her real name and she claims that the British tabloid "The Sun" provided her with "instructions and a script to follow for a recorded interview." You can read the full claim she is making here. Doctors looked over the little girl and concluded that there was never any botox injected in her face. Upton also claims that she was paid upwards of $10,000 for the story and the photos, though "The Sun' disputes those claims. Either way I am not sure who to be more upset with, the tabloid for exploiting this woman who obviously needed the money or the mother for going along with it. Obviously I am going to be more upset with the mother for going along with it. The thirst for fame and fortune pushes people to do lots of crazy things on a daily basis, even those with fame and fortune are constantly pushing the envelope...disgusting. Now this mother looks like n idiot and she lost her daughter. Who knows what this little episode is going to to to her daughter's psyche in the future.
