...Whitney Houston
Whitney Houston is back, at least for now. Last year there was talk about her voice going away, being damaged beyond repair from years of drug abuse. So were even speculating that she had relapsed and was back on drugs. Well It seemed as if she might be back. A the "Celebration Of Gospel" which will air again on BET Thursday at 8PM EST, she surprised the audience with a duet with her friend Kim Burrell. Of course her voice will never be like what it was in the 80's and 90's, but that might have faded due to age anyway, although Barbra Streisand is older and still great. Anyway, I think this was great for her and for us to witness. No one whats her to fail and no matter what we want her to rise again to be a top singer and we want her to stay there until the end. I am just glad that we have good current memories of her. Digit Up to Whitney.

...SAG Awards: Worst Dressed
Amy Adams: I just did not like the way she wore this.
Angie Harmon: These dresses do not work for her at all.
Annette Bening: Almost, but almost does not count.
Barbra Hershey: Bleach stained dress? Not cool.
Christina Hendricks: She tries a little too hard to be sexy, and she really does not have to try at all.
Edie Falco: Almost, but the shoes and flow of the dress ruined it.
...SAG Awards: Best Dressed
Amber Riley: She did it again.
Christine Baranski: Lady in red, I like you.
Ernest Borgnine & Tova Traesnaes: They looked great together.
Eva Longoria: Not as great as her Emmy dress, but she wears white well.
Heather Morris: She wore this well. Angie Harmon should take notes.
Helena Bonham Carter: This chick hears a drum beat that only she can march to. She looks presentable for once in a long time. Good job.
Hilary Swank: She is back.
Jane Krakowski: A nice not so pregnant lady dress.

...Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes-Benz, my favorite car company, just celebrated its 125 year of automotive excellence. In 1886 Carl Benz filed an application in Berlin for a patent on his three-wheeled "horseless carriage", 125 years and over 80,000 patent applications later they they are still going strong. The company has given many beautiful cars over its 125 years and many innovations, including standard airbags. Though the company has had many highs and lows ( the merger with Chrysler) I have never stopped loving the company. Mercedes-Benz is like the starter car before you own a Bentley, but with less mechanical issues. Heads of States, Presidents, royalty and everyone in between have used Mercedes-Benz as their vehicle of choice. If you ever get a chance to own one, take it, you will enjoy it. Forget the sometimes unforgiving maintenance fees, you will feel great inside of your very own Mercedes-Benz. This company has SO much history, you would need a couple of weeks to absorb it all and fully understand why I and millions of other love them. I am giving Mercedes-Benz 2 Digits Up, and hopefully many more to come.
