The NBA basketball season starts today and of course their had to be a little controversy before it tipped off. Nike just released a commercial [See Below] staring the infamous LeBron James. In the commercial he somewhat mocks his "decision" moment and specifically mentions one of his famous critics, Charles Barkley. In the commercial he only mentioned shoes once, and they were only shown for about 5 seconds. This was almost a short movie. If it were black and white it could have come across like an American version of a foreign film. I am sure that this was not meant to sell shoes, and in that sens it is doing its job. People once again are talking about LeBron and Miami and basketball. Of course the Heat will be playing today and I am sure the ratings will be beyond high for their game and I am sure this commercial will play. I am just waiting to hear what Charles has to say about being mentioned in his commercial. I am going to give this commercial a surprising Digit Up. It is doing its job and it is going to only help propel LeBron, blah, and in a sense propel Nike.
