...Lady Gaga
So if you know Lady Gaga, who does not really, then the fact that she did/does cocaine is not surprising. In the past she admitted to doing bags of cocaine while sitting at home listening to The Cure. She recently told Q Magazine this, "[Using drugs] I really figured out the art I wanted to make and was inspired. Some people find inspiration in dark places. I guess I'm one of them. What always made me different is that if I was doing drugs I was also making music. I wasn't just doing drugs." The problem with this is that a lot of her fans are young lost and impressional. If taken out of context it could be seen as her saying drugs are okay, you will find out everything you need to know through drugs, etc. What makes it even odder is what she said later during the interview, "People who say they need [drugs] to be creative are full of shit. I'm not some chick on the road getting high and fucked up every night. I wake up, drink coffee and get on the phone to talk about the creative direction of the next video." So she admitted she did drugs and that it "helped" but she is not like a Lindsay Lohan or anything, she has her stuff together and knows how to work it and if you do not then shame on you. As a lover of the 80's I know how powerful a drug cocaine is and the good and bad it can cause you. I do think that she should clarify these statements and I think she should do it ASAP. For some reason her fans will stand by this and defend her, I am sure a lot of her fans do some sort of illegal drug, it just makes sense. I hope she clears theses things up bur for some reason I doubt it. I am conservative yes, but I have a liberal side, but I am never going to approve drugs. I am giving her 2 Digits Down because I think drugs are bad and I think her fans may not fully understand what she tried to say.

...The Male View
We all have come to know and love, or at least accept, the hit daytime talk show "The View". Some have wondered if the show would ever add a man, at least a gay man. So fr other than the occasional male guest host it is still an all women co-hosted show and that is okay. Why? Well it seems as if there may be a new all male co-hosted version of The View coming out soon. It is being dubbed "The Male View". I heard this and thought, well that makes sense, I wonder why it took them so long t think of it. Names like Chris Rock and Robin Williams, not really but sort of. I think that those two guys would be great for the show, it would be a major plus for them. If this show does go through though they will definitely need a few younger more current guys to add tot he panel. Now the real and hard part, will guys watch? I think for the time being they will. New shows usually get a good boost and with the economy the way it is and so many guys out of work, what else will they do? I doubt the show would last forever or as long as The View but it is worth giving it a shot. I am giving this a Digit Up.

...Emmy Awards: Best Dressed
Eva Longoria Parker: Always a red carpet winner no matter what.
Amber Riley: I think this was a great dress for her. Something that is not typical for someone of her size and it was a hit.
Brooke Burke: White! I loved it. Her tan skin looked great in this.
Edie Falco: It was plain and simple but it worked well with her and her personality.
Glenn Close: For her age, she looks good. I think this color complimented her hair very well.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw: This looked great on television. Everything on her looks perfect.
Heather Morris: Although the black on the waistline threw me, eventually I came to like it.
Heidi Klum: I love this on her. She loves minis and jewels and this time she got it right.
Jayma Mays: Something about this gown works for me.
Jennifer Carpenter: This dress was so beautiful it made up for her bad hair.
Jewel: People will probably not like this gown, I loved it and I think she wore it well.
Julie Benz: I love white, especially when worn right. Maybe this is a Rachel Zoe client?
Kathy Griffin and Maggie Griffin: Mom and daughter, how awesome. These two looked perfect together.
Katrina Bowden: This looked great on her. Her hair and make up helped as well.
Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick: They look good together.
Lauren Sanchez: Sexy but not racy, just right.
Lea Michele: Mature and elegant. The jewels helped as well.
Nancy O'Dell: I guess I just really liked purple tonight...
Sarah Hyland: Almost a tad too much with the train but the other parts of the dress and hair kept her in the winner's circle.
Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen: Both of these women are stunning in their own way. I liked both dresses.
Stephanie Pratt: This is a mature party dress. If she wore the wrong shoes, this would have been a miss.
Terri Seymour: It was very cute and all of the elements worked for her.
Tracy Morgan: Tracy and his...ummm wife...date? They looked great together.
Wanda Sykes: This was almost a miss but it seems to have worked on her. Just do not try this again Wanda.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tina Fey: This dress was my 2nd favorite of the night. They talk about her wearing black too much but if it works, it works, and this WORKS!
Emily Deschanel: My 1st place. For some reason this was my favorite dress of the night. If was a ray of light! It was something totally different and it looked perfect on her.
...Emmy Awards: Worst Dressed
Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin: This newly wed couple should have stayed home is this is the best they were going to do.
Padma Lakshmi: This former model marches to the beat of her own drum. I guess the guy who made her drum also made this dress.
Naya Rivera: A little too much, almost a winner.
Mary Hart: The top killed it. If it were just a simple little top, it would have given her a win tonight.
Kim Kardashian: I am tired of seeing Kim in her same 3 dresses. Who is your stylist and why have you not fired her yet!
Kat Kramer: This dress would have been a winner...3 years ago. The hair did not help this dress out either.
Jenna Ushkowitz: The shoes with this dress are not working together. They do not mesh well with her clutch at all.
January Jones: This dress is horrible. Her hair looks horrible. Noting about this works for me.
Hope Davis: This was just boring in every single way.
Giuliana Rancic: I am not a fan of hers anyway so it was not easy for me to find fault in her gown. It almsot worked but her hair...the roots, eh.
Eva La Rue: These are the Emmys not the Grammys, too much skin my friend.
Claire Danes: This dress did not make her stand out. She blended in too well with it.
Christina Hendricks: Almost! I wanted to like this but too many frills around the shoulder killed it. I think that this dress should have been sleeveless.
Cheryl Hines: Just a little too much is going on. I almost liked it but her hair helped me make up my mind.
